These Terms govern use of the Scenic Trails Co website and participation in trips, treks, tours, and adventure activities organised or offered by Scenic Trails Co. By using the website, enquiring, booking, or participating, you agree to these Terms and applicable trip-specific conditions.
We make reasonable efforts to keep itineraries, dates, prices, inclusions, exclusions, and descriptions accurate. Schedules and arrangements may change due to weather, local conditions, availability, safety, site closures, transport issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Material changes affecting a confirmed booking will be communicated with available options. Promotional images are illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers explore trips on our website and continue the enquiry through WhatsApp Business. The customer and Scenic Trails confirm the departure date, availability, price, inclusions, exclusions, payment requirements, and applicable conditions. An enquiry or WhatsApp conversation alone does not guarantee a reservation. A booking is confirmed when Scenic Trails communicates confirmation after applicable requirements are met.
Scenic Trails currently coordinates bookings through WhatsApp Business and accepts UPI or cash as agreed with our team. We do not currently offer an online payment gateway on the website. Verify recipient details before paying and retain receipts. Never share your UPI PIN or banking credentials. Any advance, balance, deadline, or additional charge must be communicated before the customer commits to the applicable terms.
Each trip has its own inclusions and exclusions, which may cover transport, accommodation, meals, permits, guides, entry tickets, equipment, and activities. Review the trip details before confirming. Personal expenses and services not expressly listed as included may be excluded.
Participants must provide accurate information, arrive on time, follow instructions from trek leads, guides, and activity professionals, comply with safety rules and local laws, respect other participants and communities, and take reasonable care of personal belongings. Some activities require physical fitness, eligibility, consent forms, or additional operator conditions. Participants should assess their ability to participate and disclose relevant safety information where required. Scenic Trails may restrict participation where there is a reasonable safety concern, subject to applicable law.
Traffic, weather, road conditions, restrictions, closures, or provider disruptions may affect schedules. We may make reasonable adjustments for safety and feasibility and will communicate material changes where appropriate. Independent transport, accommodation, and activity providers may have their own operational and safety requirements. This does not remove responsibilities Scenic Trails has under applicable law.
Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling conditions may differ by trip and will be communicated during booking confirmation. Customers should review them before payment. If Scenic Trails cancels a confirmed trip or cannot provide a material part of the confirmed service, available options may include rescheduling, an alternative arrangement, or a refund as appropriate under the agreed terms and applicable law. Threatening, abusive, unlawful, or unsafe conduct may result in reasonable safety action. Report lost or damaged belongings promptly. Participation in a trip does not automatically constitute consent to use identifiable photographs or videos for marketing; we will seek consent where required by law.
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. For complaints, email scenictrailsco@gmail.com with your name, trip, departure date, and booking details. To the extent permitted by law, Scenic Trails is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be handled by competent courts or forums with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing restricts statutory consumer rights. We may update these Terms; existing confirmed bookings remain subject to applicable law and the specific terms agreed for them.
